Delete Local Derova Data

Music Migrator provides separate controls for local erasure, local account disconnection, and Google Data Portability authorization reset. These actions have different effects.

Option 1 - Erase all local Music Migrator data

In the Windows desktop application:

  1. Open the Données locales section.
  2. Find Effacer mes données Music Migrator.
  3. Select Effacer mes données locales.
  4. Review and accept the confirmation prompt.

This action stops active local work safely and removes:

This action does not:

If Windows temporarily prevents deletion, Music Migrator records a non-sensitive cleanup marker and retries local cleanup at the next startup before reopening its stores.

Option 2 - Disconnect SOURCE or DESTINATION locally

In the corresponding account card, select Déconnecter.

This removes only that role's Music Migrator credential from Windows Credential Manager on the current device. It does not revoke access in the Google account, reset Data Portability, delete migration records, or alter remote playlists.

Option 3 - Reset Data Portability authorization

For the SOURCE account, select Réinitialiser l’autorisation Data Portability when the control is available and accept the warning.

Music Migrator first checks that no active or recoverable archive still depends on the authorization. If safe, it calls Google's Data Portability-specific reset operation and then removes the local SOURCE credential. This can make older Google archive jobs unavailable.

Reset does not remove the DESTINATION credential and does not delete playlists already migrated to YouTube. It is distinct from local Disconnect and from local data erasure.

Google authorization management

Music Migrator does not expose a generic Google OAuth revoke operation. Users may separately manage third-party access through their Google account controls. Removing access there can prevent future export, refresh, migration, or recovery operations.
